Extra Yard for Teachers

The Arizona Bowl, in collaboration with the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation, proudly supports Southern Arizona teachers through the Extra Yard for Teachers program. This initiative awards grants to exceptional teachers who significantly impact their students' lives. Annually, twenty $1,000 grants are distributed, and recipients are honored with special recognition during the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl. The CFP Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, focuses on enhancing education from early childhood to secondary levels, primarily through teacher support in areas such as resources, recognition, recruitment, and professional development. The upcoming event will also celebrate the teachers with on-field accolades and game tickets.
