Carbo Forge - Steel Forging History

2010 - 4000 lb. Hammer base set.

2009 - Q-Form 3D simulation software is implemented to aid engineering in determining optimal die design and to address any foreseeable problematic areas.

2008 - Addition installed to the south side of the hammer shop to house 4000 lb. closed die forging hammer.

2006 - Carbo Forge becomes 100% Employee Owned closed die forging company.

2005 - Carbo Forge adopts a ZERO defect policy.

2003 - Carbo Forge is featured in Forging Magazine for being a Quality Standard Pioneer due to TS16949 registration.

2002 - Carbo Forge is audited for TS 16949:2002 & ISO 9000:2000.

2000 - Carbo Forge purchased another 10,000 square foot in order to build a training/storage facility west of the current steel forging operations.

Carbo Forge, a TS 16949 & ISO 9001 closed-die forger, has been in operation since 1961. Located in Fremont, Ohio: Carbo Forge is the first closed-die forging company in the United States and Canada to be registered to the TS16949 standard.

We specialize in producing steel forgings ranging from 0-15 pounds. As a high quality forging company we supply a wide variety of closed-die steel forgings to markets specializing in carbon, alloy, micro-alloy and stainless steel forgings. Carbo Forges strategic location provides easy access to major roadways currently servicing both the United States and Canada.
