The Open Eye Theater's mission is to provide diverse audiences in Margaretville and the surrounding Catskill Mountain communities with quality live theater productions and offer professional theater training and education programs designed to encourage and challenge performers of all ages in the performing arts.
The Open Eye Theater has Empire State Partnerships with both Margaretville and Andes Central Schools, where Teaching Artist go into the classroom and assist the teacher in enhancing student learning of the curriculum through the Arts.
This summer we are happy to welcome John Newman back to the Theater as he leads our Youth Theater Workshop in "The Final Book of Oz" The Youth Theater workshop is designed for children ages 6-16 and runs full or half days. The Registration form is available on our website.
