General Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are looking for 2 to 3 people willing to travel Monday through Friday. Beginning pay is $21 per hour, depending on experience. A typical work week begins with the crew meeting at the Anselmo, NE base site on Monday at 5:00 am. Work hours on the job site typically run 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (hours paid based on hours on the job site only). The average work week averages 50 hours. We do pay time and a half for anything over 40 hours. Most projects require being out of town Monday-Friday(home on weekends). The hotel is paid while working on the job site, and there is a subsistence allowance paid for meals when working over an 8-hour day. This is a year-round job, so you will need to be prepared to work in a variety of weather and environmental conditions. The job sites are a fast-paced environment. These are useful skills, but we will be willing to train a willing learner. · Ability to find and verify measurements to ensure accuracy (level, tape measure) · Ability to read and interpret machine gauges · Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs · Ability to perform a variety of manual labor tasks without significant direction · Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually or as a team when carrying loads heavier than 50 pounds · Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time · Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl throughout each day · Willingness to abide by all safety rules. Safety training will be provided These are requirements of the job, not negotiable. · Valid driver’s license and driving record with no major offenses · Ability to commute as far as the Anselmo base.
