Job Description

CHEQUE EXPRESS, Inc. is looking for a part-time professional, experienced, and motivated bilingual (English Spanish) Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This position provides direct support to both the HR Director and Operations Director, assisting with reports, data tracking, and daily administrative needs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Also serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a welcoming and professional front-office presence. This position is also responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring efficient communication and organization within the office.

Responsabilities

 Greet and assist visitors professionally and courteously.

·        Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to appropriate staff.

·        Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.

·        Prepare and send outgoing mail and shipments as needed.

·        Support HR and Operations Departments with administrative tasks and project tracking

·        Download and organize reports from internal systems.

·        Maintain and update tracking sheets, Excel files, and other digital logs.

·        Ensure all common areas (lobby, kitchen, supply closets, etc.) are clean, organized, and fully stocked.

·        Assist with coordinating meetings, preparing documents, and basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.

·        Help track ongoing company projects and deadlines across departments.

·        Performs other related duties as assigned


  Candidate Requirements 

·        High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus.

·        Previous experience as an administrative assistant

·        Fully bilingual (English & Spanish)- required

·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·        Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

·        Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·        Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

·        Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and good judgment. 

·        Ability to pass a background check
